Military Appreciation Month was introduced to honor our service members every May. Military Appreciation Month encourages reflection on the sacrifices made by our soldiers, sailors, and all current and former military personnel.
May is an appropriate month for a military remembrance. The month celebrates and commemorates the end of World War II in Europe. Military Appreciation Month culminates on the last Monday of May to honor veterans who died in service of our country.
